biography
I studied art, graphic design and advertising at the University of Delaware and went on to forge a long career in NYC, ending with Executive Creative Director.
I longed for my analog roots and worked in pastel, which proved flexible, fast and intense. I studied with Wolf Kahn, painted pleine air, portraits, cityscapes and a series of Parisian pastries.
The Pastel Society of America juried me into my first show and inducted me as a member two years later. I became a Master Pastellist in 2010 after winning numerous awards.
I’ve been represented by galleries in New York City, Bridgehampton, Brooklyn, Charlotte, Stone Harbor and Englewood, NJ. Work has been seen at the New York Armory as well as in numerous group and solo shows.
My husband and I split our time between Brooklyn and a remote lakefront cottage. That’s where I feel most inspired.
